About Us
Halo Solutions Firm S.A. employs a low-profile protective security model specifically designed for Haiti’s non-permissive and rapidly evolving environment. The purpose of this approach is to reduce visibility, minimize identification by armed groups, and prevent protective teams from being mistaken for Haitian National Police (HNP) anti-gang operations.
Halo PSD teams are composed of U.S.-vetted Haitian BLTS personnel, retired U.S. Diplomatic Security Service agents, former U.S. law enforcement officers, and veterans of U.S. Special Operations units. This diverse cadre brings together international protective security standards and deep, localized knowledge of Haiti’s cultural, geographic, and operational dynamics. Personnel undergo training drawn from U.S. and U.K. protective doctrine, including situational awareness, route analysis, disguised checkpoint recognition, Immediate Action Drills, Principal Recovery and Extraction procedures, tactical medicine, and defensive as well as evasive driving techniques​
PSD Planning, Orders, and Preparation
Halo’s planning process begins upon receipt of a movement request. The Team Leader conducts an immediate assessment of mission requirements, environmental threats, recent incidents, and available intelligence.
Detailed plans outline routes, roles, contingencies, and communications methods, and these plans are adapted continuously as new information emerges. Operational orders provide a comprehensive briefing on mission objectives, execution concepts, and use-of-force parameters. Prior to departure, Halo teams conduct rehearsals of Immediate Action Drills, extraction procedures, and communications protocols. Personnel, equipment, and vehicles undergo final inspections to ensure complete mission readiness.
